Happy weekenders!
Very happy that I managed to do some cafe hopping this weekend:)
First stop is a cafe opp Amoy Food Centre. Gæst is a very new cafe that just opened last Dec.
They have very limited variety for Saturday menu, we ordered almost everything on the menu.
Scrambled egg with smoked salmon with homemade sour dough.
Next is omolette with fresh salad and sourdough bread. The scrambled egg was quite fluffy. I like both scrambled egg and omolette but both were a tad too salty.
This is the potato sandwhich- salt boiled potato, with hazelnut and rye crunch with smoked mayo sauce.
ChickenSandwhich- Roasted chicken breast with celery stalk and fresh herb cream.
The classic order at brunch places- poached eggs on toast.
Hot chocolate made from pure Valrhona chocolate and milk only:)
Dark chocolate mocha, I am not a fan of coffee because of the aftertaste but this dark chocolate kinda overpower the caffeine taste. Starting and slowly to appreciate coffee:)
What's on the table:
Overall the food is decent with pocket friendly prices. Our total bill came up to $103 with 6mains and three drinks. Serving mainly the Nordic breakfast necessities. However our dining experience will be made better if we receive better service.

After our lunch, we visited P.S cafe @ Ang Siang Hill for desserts:)
First up is Sticky date pudding:
I am one of the rare one who doesn't like caramel, hence not a fan of this pudding except for the Vanilla ice-cream.
Key Lime pie, refreshing lime curd for the taste bud.
Drumrolls for the next dish...
Truffle shoestring fries!!! I have heard so much rave about these mountain high of truffle fries with parmesan cheese. I am a fan of potato and anything with truffle but to be honest, I have tried equally good or better truffle fries out there. Still a worthy price(S$15) to pay for such big portion of fries.
