The best supper buddy is no doubt an instant noodle. And this is also why we all started falling in love with Nissin, being the pioneer instant noodle company. Their continuous innovation brings us more options. All ramen lovers should be thrilled to know that Nissin Foods brought in the Hokkaido Miso Ramen last September, a new series to the Japanese Ramen series.
Four packets of Nissin Ramen was sent to be last year and I am so glad to be introduced to it. We can all enjoy restaurant quality ramen at an affordable S$3.85(per bundle, prices may vary at different supermarket.)
Easily cooked within 10 minutes, I added in some green(very asian) seaweed and home made japanese lava egg. In the packet, features a flavourful miso soup base and special garnish, Wakame seaweed. The noodle is so springy and smooth, created by proprietary techniques. It was so enjoyable to slurp at it especially when it is raining outside. By the way, Japanese slurp really loudly when they are having ramen, the louder they slurp it means the ramen is really awesome.
Kyushu Black, originating from Kyushu Island, features black garlic oil which gives a fragrant taste with a hint of balsamic vinegar. The black garlic oil stained the bowl slightly but I love the fragant garlic oil and my successful japanese lava egg (second attempt).
A popular ramen flavour in Tokyo- Tokyo Shoyu has a distinctive yet basic taste of Umami. Anyone who likes simple will like this comforting taste. Nori Seaweed(I likeeee!) is also included as garnish.
Now, anyone can cook a delicacy in just 5 minutes. The Japanese Ramen range is Halal certified and available in supermarkets across the island.
