#Brunchdategirls to Taiwan | Day 6

Day 6

Finally I am down to the last day of my June Holiday. Decided to visit one last cafe before catching the late afternoon flight. Located at ZhongShan North Road, Section 2 is Melange Cafe:

There are a few cafes along that street but the biggest is Melange Cafe. They owned a couple of units along the street.

Melange Cafe is inspired by the European Cafes, with big clear windows and a little garden just before the entrance. As what the menu sketches, infront of the shop houses laid a row of bicycles with picnic baskets and bikes.

Ordered two macaroons before anything else, pretty decent macaroons at this French-inspired cafe at about S$2 each.

Iced summer fruit tea: Basically is just Iced Lipton tea with a mixture of fruits. Pretty sweet and refreshing, which is a good drink for summer. Almost every table ordered this drink the last time when we were at The Coffee Alley, so I decided to give it a try.

Caramel Milk Coffee:

My favourite drink: Matcha Latte- Rich matcha flavour but doesn't tast artificial like those matcha powder.

Rich Hot Chocolate drink: an all time favourite drink. Reminded me of the best chocolate drink I had from KOKO Black from Melbourne. I miss Aussie now...

Smoked duck salad with orange dressing:

Interesting dressing which helps to add a twist to the usual salad.

Smoked Chicken & Ham Pizza:

Anything with cheese is yummy with a scoop of egg mayo to go with.

Royal milk tea:

Borkshire Ham Sandwich:
Sour dough bread which was quite hard and difficult to eat it but I love the huge chunk of cheese and ham.

We were slightly disappointed when there wasn't much options for their breakfast menu, they offered a more extensive drink menu and dessert menu instead.

Us snapping outside the cafe, this place could pass off for some Taiwanese idol drama setting!

So we actually planned to cafe hop and did not order a lot at Cafe Melange. Just a few streets away is Rose Mary, we heard they serves really good brunch but the wait was too long when we get there so we had to give it a miss:( Share with me your dining experience if you do get to visit them.

Our second time drinking bubble tea during the whole trip, this time round we ordered Caramel milk tea with mini pearls焦糖奶茶.

Back at XMD to do some last minute shopping and eating. Wenhui and I went back for another bowl of MeeSua. It was really really good and we couldn't resist it!

This is the highly raved milk tea that you can get from 7-11 convenience stall. My friends love it and even asked me to bring it back to SG for her:D

Did I mention before I love 7-11 in Taiwan. They have delicious cup noodles, herbal egg, drinks and HOKKAIDO SOFT SERVE ICE-CREAM!!! Each outlet carries a different flavour and on our last day I finally managed to try it. They were serving the chocolate flavour and it was DAYUM!! Rich and smooth soft serve that I couldn't resist.

Time passes quickly when you are having fun, last group shot before we head back home. Us with all our barangs and Chia Te- known for pineapple tarts and Lao Po Bing:D

Till our next adventure!

XOXO
